We have serviced Northern
Ireland's main Shopping Centres since we started 15 years ago.
We can provide all the
standard activities, face painting, balloon modelling, cartoon characters,
crafts and so on.
For our GAMESHOWS click HERE.
We also provide many things
which are specific to certain seasons. Here's a limited list as an example
for Mother's Day..... (click on down for SPECIFIC items which will only work
in a Shopping Centre)
Mothers Day
CD gift for Mum
We have invested in a state of the art Karaoke machine, which has over
35,000 songs.
We can record the child singing and send them home with a CD of their
performance to
give to their Mum for Mother's Day. Barry Thompson would host. The CD's are
branded with your Shopping Centre logo.
Plaster Mould Making
Children paint a plaster mould with acrylic paint. We provide everything
required, including
the aprons for the children. Includes the "kids crafts" display board.

Tea Light Painting
As above but painting little tea-light candles instead.

Promise Cards
Children design and dedicate a Promise Card to their Mum. We provide a sheet of
"prompts"
for the children to decide what to put on there. Your shopping Centre logo is
included on the
card in full colour. The child goes home with a card which says "I promise Mum
that.............
.....(I'll wash the dishes for a week).
Card
Making
Beautiful paper flowers from Thailand, bright foam hearts from the USA, we have
really upped the quality of our card making. They look superb and
will work very well for Mothers Day.

Certificate making
Children make a special Mother's Day certificate for their Mum complete with a
hand print.
A very popular Mother's Day activity.

Balloon Flowers
Either have a balloon modeller there making flowers for Mum's or use a character
to give
away pre-made balloon flowers.

Mad Libs
Mad Libs is something we saw in a Shopping Mall in the USA, and it worked a
treat.
A compere has a computer system and a large screen. He engages young children
and their parents as they pass by. He asks them what school they go to, and a
few
other questions. Then he asks them to give him some nouns, verbs, numbers and
so on. These are being typed in to the computer system by an assistant. Then the
child picks a story title that appeals to him from the screen. It could be
"School Rules",
"Airplane run", there are about 12 to choose from. The computer then inserts the
child's
information into that story which comes up on screen.
The story ALWAYS includes the name of your Shopping Centre as well!!
The child is then given a brightly coloured version of his / her story to take
home. These will be
brought into school and shown to family because of their humorous content, which
means
people talking about YOUR centre. It gathers a nice friendly crowd and gives a
good
ambience as well.
Day you were born
If you are having an anniversary or other "dates based" events, this is perfect.
We have a computer system set up with EVERY front page of the New York Times
from the
last 100 years. The shopper can ask for a front page from a special date and we
print it on
an A3 page for them, with a special commemorative border around it including
your centre's
logo. These will be kept in people's home for a LONG time. again giving a
talking point for
your Centre.
Electric Carnival
When trying to come up with new activities, I tried to think of what my own
children enjoy doing.
There are two main things - having a go at simple competitions and getting free
stuff! So we combined
those two into the electric carnival concept. It's very simple. We set up a 54"
television set with bright and
simple games on there. Things like hangman. The child is engaged by our operator
as they pass by
and asked if they want to win a prize. And it's free to try. They then play a
game of hangman or something
similarly simple, and they always are allowed to win (but they don't know that
everyone wins). They may
only win a chocolate lolly, but go home happy, because they "won a prize".
It all comes down to the skill and banter of the operator, and we have included
a banner stand as sown at the
bottom in this one. Very simple, very bright, interactive, and not expensive.
